Garlic Bread Toast

A piece of toast, early in the morning, and your breakfast is done. Isn’t that what most of us do? Especially those working ladies out there? So, it’s inevitable that you would eventually grow bored of them. But, what if you could try different toasts each day? Wouldn’t that help? Having variety and healthy stuff to eat? And how to make this healthy stuff tasty, you ask? Garlic to the rescue! 
So, today, we are here with a recipe for a simple yet delicious toast. 

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
Butter - 50 grams
Italian seasoning - 1 to 1 1/2 Tsp.
A pinch of Salt
A few cloves of Garlic
Baguette/Bread

Method: 
1. Cut the baguette into (roughly 2/3 inch thick) pieces

Garlic butter mix:
Grate Garlic onto the Butter. Add 1 or 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning. Add a pinch of Salt & mix well.Let the mix sit for about 3 minutes.
Your garlic butter is ready to apply.
Note: You can also store by refrigerating them in a container.

Spread the garlic butter generously on the bread pieces

Conventional bake for 3 to 5 minutes.

How To Make Masala Oats

This Masala oats is a recent addition to our quick fix dinner menu. It can be served alone without any accompaniment but is best with papad, chutney, podi or raita. This masala oats turns non mushy if made with rolled oats, if made with quick cook oats it turns mushy and can also be made to a porridge consistency.


Prep Time : 0-5 minutes
Cook time : 16-20 minutes
Serve : 4
Level Of Cooking : Easy
Taste : Spicy

Ingredients for Masala Oats Recipe

  • Rolled oats 2 cups

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped 1-2

  • Tomato finely chopped 1 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let their colour change.

Step 2

Add green chillies and onion, mix well and sauté till the onion is golden.

Step 3

Add tomato and salt, reduce heat, cover and cook for two to three minutes.

Step 4

Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.

Step 5

Add rolled oats, four cups water and cook for four to five minutes. Add one tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 6

Serve hot, garnished with the remaining coriander leaves.
