Must Visit Virat Kohli's New Restaurant In New Delhi

India’s heart-throb, Virat Kohli, recently opened a South-American cuisine restaurant in Delhi. It is a first-of-its-kind restaurant in India that serves this authentic cuisine. Chef Michael Swamy, a two-time Gourmand award winner, has contributed immensely to this restaurant. The interiors are classy, modern and impressive and if you are a Wine
connoisseur, this place is going to be a gold mine for you!

First of all, meet Chef Micheal Swamy

Micheal Swamy is the brains behind the amazing items that Nueva is set to offer. The renowned chef is also a food stylist, writer, and a travel photographer. With a single person, so much to offer that why wouldn't anyone want to grab a bite? Who knows it could even give you a tour to the stars?
The items designed by him are equivalent to an art piece, for example, Ceviche de Camarones, Spicy mole, La Caja de Pinturas, Peruvian piscos among others.

The Ambience of Restaurant

This place has nice ambience. Food is also delicious, we ordered cold pizza, cheese platter and some drinks. We personally didn’t like cheese platter that much but cold pizza was sumptuous. The staffs were so cooperative. Bar is nice and offers good drinks. We really loved the sitting arrangements and interior. They also have upstairs sitting arrangements. Overall good place with good ambience, one can opt for this place.

About Food

Nueva is one of the classy dining place I have visited in recent times. The place has got beautiful modern interiors and great bar making it one place to be for any of your occasions, be it a formal office lunch or a casual night dinner. The place has got two floors which are very well segmented. The seating are well placed and are comfortable in nature. They have a private dining area for 12-14 people too. The staffs are courteous and knows about their dishes and what they are serving. They suggested me with some really great dishes on my visit. The service is prompt too, which makes your dining experience smooth here.
Now coming on the food and drinks -
*I started with their welcome drink and Amouse bouche which raised my hunger and expectations.
*Then I ordered for Tuna Mango roll which had tuna, ripe mango, seasame seed and onion leeks. The taste was good and being a mango lover I loved the mango input in the rolls.
*Grilled prawns were perfectly grilled. those were fresh too and with chile lime and cilantro sauce it tasted amazing.
*Crumbed fried fish with homemade rocoto sauce is again one amazing appetizer which you can have here.
*Oven baked sole was amazing at taste and one of my favourite dish of the day here. Sesame and peanuts crusted sole with wild rice, eggplant, cucumber  & dashi voulette made it qualitatively great whereas the portion size was huge too. loved it.
*Herb crusted New Zeland lamb racks were another favourite of mine here. if you love non-veg food, you can miss on trying one of the best sourced lamb racks and chops. it was a perfect platter of Georgian plum sauce, grilled eggplats, couscous, with walnuts and pomegranate seeds. The presentation was aesthetically appealing too.
*Andean Mountain Dreams was a beautifully presented and segmented designer dessert. They had 3-4 segment, each having a different ingredient and making it resemble to the  Andes. It had a glass mountain with fluffy panacotta which defined the snow capped mountains, Chocolate layer represented the rainforest and the base layer of fruity colorful plains of quinoa made the entire scenario complete. The taste while having all at once was amazing too.
*Arroz con le che had arborio rice cooked in milk and was sweetened with honey and dates. The taste and look resembles to Indian Kheer. The taste & texture was amazing. Loved it and gulped it down in a go

Must Try These Bengali Restaurants In Delhi

Bengali cuisine is a culinary style originating in Bengal, a region in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent, which is now divided between Bangladesh and the Bangla state of India. Other regions, such as Tripura, and the Barak Valley region of Assam (in India) also have large native Bengali populations and share this cuisine. With an emphasis on fish, vegetables and lentils are served with rice as a staple diet.

1. Oh! CalcuttaOh!

Oh! Calcutta has always been appealing. What we love about the buffet is the choice in main course. Elsewhere, you get so many starters that you have no space left for main course at all. Here the starters are limited - so you get to enjoy the curries most.
Hilsa Festival is the current promotion at their outlets and we got to try the best dishes they had on offer. The buffet has options from all courses as the bongs like it - bhaja, dal, posto, the meat, the sweets, the chutney. We loved the offerings as part of the special festival as well.
The start with Ilish Fish Fingers could have been a little better. The fish fingers were a little dry but with the accompaniment of kasundi, they were good to go. Mochar Ilish was the star dish - a preparation made with mocha and Ilish - the distinct taste of both the fish and the mocha made it a must have. Another dish we loved to the core was Aam Tel Ilish - the queen of fish marinated with the oil of pickle, cooked within a pumpkin leaf and served with a portion of rice cooked with same flavors - this one's another must have from the special menu. Ilish Bhaja comes with a fried piece and 2 portions of fish egg cutlets, alongwith the oil in which it was fried - this is how it is had traditionally and we loved the way of presenting - needless to say, there is nothing wrong that can go here.
You get a lot of variety in the curries section - Lal Lonkar Ilish - the fish cooked in a spicy, tangy curry made mainly using red chillies was a good one. Posto Narkel Ilish is a fav. among people who love the fish and it was made very well too - among all the curries this was our favorite. Fish Paturi is well made, but the presentation is different - we expected it to come wrapped in a banana leaf - but it came differently - although there was no compromise on the taste altogether.
Desserts have options from gurer payesh, bhapa sandesh and rosogulla to choose from among others.

2. Maa Tara, CR Park Market 2

Searching for Bengal vibes? Here it is. Maa Tara has always been one of my favourite. Amazing food. The quality of the food is well maintained. It is fresh and absolutely delicious. Delivery is on time always. The staff is polite. Recommended dishes- chicken kosha and rohu kalia.

3. Kolkata Biryani House, CR Park Market 1

Nice biriyani with the quintessential bengali touch at No.1 mkt CR Park. They serve decent portions too. They have grown over the last few years and the quality of food has go to do a lot with it. The eatery is well managed and is a favourite amongst bengali folks in CR Park and around. My favourite though are the rolls here. I find them the closest to the Kolkata variety and in my opinion the best in CR Park. Do try for some good lip smacking stuff. You wont be dissapointed.

4. Bijoli Grill

Name is lit "bijoli grill" a place where you can find the local benagli delicacies in the heart of the capital. The location is good but once you get inside the place you would find yourself in a early 80's canteen which would be a great place to come and dine in for all the benagli food lovers.. Ki khabo tales.....
Now let me speak about the menu all you see isn't true meaning everything isn't available there are items which are seasonal and there some items which are not reasonable by availability...
Food quality isn't good I have treated my self with authentic benagli dishes trust me they are taking the name down. Service is as good as a government office from "office office" but this is true some people are laid back.... Dada relax..
I couldn't try the thali but it seems that's the only thing for what people come here to savour untill I try the same I can't lie...

5. Hi Kolkata
Hi Kolkata royal ambience, polite and humble service staff and the culprit head.
While finding a place to eat Bengali seafood nearby got this option in zomato.
The ambience is superb and Royal. Value added by the extra ordinary service by the server. Amazing hospitality.
But you can't give your feedback here if you don't like any food item. You will be asked questions by the chef and in charge of the place like . Why u ordered and that to arrogantly.
Fish qaliya it was not at all eatable the gravy was not qaliya gravy and when we informed this to server then the mess happened with the 30 years experience 0% knowledge chef cum in charge.

Here is a list of the top restaurants in for fine dining and to experience the best of romantic candlelight dinners in Delhi. So what are you waiting for? Go on and select your pick from the below and enjoy your date.

1.Mia Bella- Romantic Kitchen & Bar
Mia Belle is undoubted the ideal romantic date spot with your loved one, the place is spread over three floors promising different sitting areas. Most ideal time to visit would be at night, maybe when it is a little cold. Staff here is efficient with swift service however they forgot to add zomato gold offer to us bill, which was little off since they take the code before placing an order.
Rainbow sangria is their speciality which is highly recommended, with a twist to normal sangria this one includes Their drinks menu screams summers and refreshing fruits, I ordered a orange based mocktail, the drink had ideal fruity punch along with fresh slices of oranges. They have a great menu with good variety to suit everyone's palate, I really liked the fact that they customised our pasta according to our wants. Arrabiata Spaghetti was amazing, nicely cooked and perfect balance of spices with fresh veggies. Topped with cheese which was optimum.

2. Lodi – The Garden Restaurant
This is one of my favourite place to hang out as a couple. Loved this place their ambience, their food. Everything's about this place. Have been there for so many time, but never got disappointed. They have great services. All their staff is very responsible to taking care of. I'll give it 5 star always.

3. Kylin Premier

Their decor and service staff quality has always been superior to many in the vicinity and till date have maintained it at very high level.
If one were to venture to a culinary establishment that can be described as “The best of China in New Delhi ”, then one would surely expect to be presented with food of a heavenly nature and kylin for sure no longer stands that test.
It had started off with unmatched taste and authenticity but in course of time have compromised on the quality and taste. They have unfortunately modified their recipes and it no longer remains an outlet that can swear for its authenticity. It is now quite indianised in their taste.

4. Sevilla By Claridges

This place is very classy and probably ideal in terms for a romantic date. But if you want to have some good food then you probably need to think twice. I had paella which is combination of Spanish rice, sea food and chicken which was good. For a vegetarian option we took an appetizer of mushrooms and it was pathetic. The food is really expensive and not worth the penny.

5. FIO Country Kitchen and Bar

Located in Garden of 5 senses in saket with greenery all around. Went there with friends for a birthday party. Ambience is very good specially if u want to go for romantic candle light dinner/date with your partner. Food is ok. Service little slow instead of less crowd. Rate wise it's quite expensive. Menu has vry selected items. If u stay in North or east Delhi then it's very far off. Recommended for couples.

6.Olive Bar & Kitchen

Olive bar & Kitchen is a place which is perfect for a romantic date, specially if you are looking for authentic Italian. It’s very hard to find an authentic Italian restaurant. The food will straight away take you to the streets of Italy. We ordered a few drinks out of which Hendricks stood out to its reputation. Lobster with shrimp tentacles is a must have which can be followed by a Tenderloin. The place looks very elegant in the night specially if the weather is pleasant.

Awesome place to shop. The assortment is unique with loads of imported chocolates, beverages, chips, candies, snacks...and much more. Blessed are those who have a 24 Seven store in the neighbourhood. Must visit!!!

3. RBG - Park Inn by Radisson

This is the place where you can go 24/7 as it opened throughout the day. I visited there with my friends to have Indian food. We ordered cottage cheese and lamb in Indian preparation with tawa paratha along with boondi raita. Paneer was very bland and yogurt was so sour that we couldn't eat. We asked staff to change it as it was not eatable. Meanwhile I went to use their washroom and got annoyed to see the bad condition of it. It was really unexpected from a brand like this.

4. Yellow Brick Road, Khan Market

The place has a very different aura. The crowd is extremely sophisticated since it’s located in a high end hotel. I ordered a chicken pizza along with garlic bread which didn’t disappoint and exceeded my expectations. The salads were also very refreshing. The staff here impressed me the most and created the experience even better. I visited on a cold day so sitting outside was the best decision.

5. Horn Please Restaurant 24/7

An amazing cafe which is opened 24 hours. So if you are hungry at night or need a place to go after clubbing or just to chill with your friends, this is the place to go.
