Top #5 Famous Biryani Place in Delhi
1. Biryani Blues
If you think of Hyderabadi biryani, you have to think of this place. Authentic taste, consistent quality and amazing service make it a favorite.
Served in the same handi as it is cooked and dum, you are in for a treat to all your senses when ordering from them! The rice was Al dante and the chicken was tender. I would have liked the ratio of the chicken to rice be equal as the chicken was lesser than the rice but the flavors were just too good to think of anything!
3.
The biryani arrived in a classic clay pot with beautiful candles to keep it warm..we ordered for a hyderabadi mutton biryani..the quality of mutton used in the biryani was great..although the price is a lil on the higher side it didnt come close to the taste of hyderabad.it had a lil bit of the kolkata touch to it that of kewra and rose water essence which is quiet evident in the kolkata style of cooking..not spicy at all.was a great experience..
4.
This is a brand which has established itself on every food enthusiastic's wishlist. Obviously it became a place I had to try when I was in Delhi. Making it to this place is a task in itself. The waiting line just to get a seat makes you wonder if the food is given for free. We ordered seekh, gravy and some other chicken starters. The food was good but not extra ordinary the way all the hype is built around this place. If you happen to be in the area then please do try it out otherwise don't make an extra effort to just reach this place to try out the food.
5. Al Jawahar, Jama Masjid

5. Al Jawahar, Jama Masjid
Al Jawar is one of the finer Mughlai restaurants in Delhi. The setting may be extremely casual, but the food here won’t be out of place if served at a fine-dining restaurant (with very minimal tweaks, of course). We love their super soft tandoori roti and Pasanda, but their biryani just takes our breath away: Mostly because it can get quite heavy! Come here on a leisurely Sunday afternoon and get a dose of the very addictive food here. You can also get their delicacies in Defence Colony now.
