Top 5 Foods You Should Avoid Eating in Breakfast

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gets you charged for your routine lined up, but that doesn't mean that the food you are calling breakfast is necessarily good for you. It might even be unhealthy to such an extent that it can make you sick. And, that is exactly what happens when attention is not paid to good food. But don't worry, I have curated a list for you about the foods that you should avoid eating in the morning.

Parantha

This one might hurt a bit because parantha is one of the most beloved breakfast food items in India. But sadly, the excessive butter and ghee on the parantha make it unhealthy!
Alternative: However, you can eat veggie parantha prepared from little oil with salty curd.

Bread and Butter

All of us have bread and butter every day. I can't even imagine a day when I didn't wake up to find bread and butter on the dining table but it turns out that this combination has little or no nutritional value. Are you as shocked as I am?
Alternative: You can prepare a nutritious sandwich using multi-grain or brown bread with veggies instead of butter.

Puri Sabzi

Since the puris are fried in oil and eaten with potato curry, it deems it unhealthy for breakfast because you will be consuming a lot of oil first thing in the morning!
Alternative: Instead of having oily puri and sabzi, you can go for plain chapati with mix veg.

Samosa

You can find samosas in every nook and cranny of India. But beware, if you eat this in the morning, it will make you sluggish and lethargic.
Alternative: You can eat porridge instead of oily samosas. Your body will thank you.

Maggi

Of course, Maggi is great for an evening snack but when it comes to breakfast, then it would be wise that you don't go for this. There is nothing in this snack which holds a nutritional value.
Alternative: Have oatmeal instead of Maggi which would be quite beneficial.
